Как известно, цивилизованная Европа крайне мала размером, и места в ней не хватает очень давно. В 1492 году Христофор Колумб открыл Америку, и европейцы сразу потянулись обживать ничейные земли. Сперва, понятно, туда послали ветеранов горячих точек – людей типа Кортеса и Писсаро, с разбегу уничтоживших империи инков и ацтеков. Потом туда сослали в работы нежелательный элемент – уголовников, должников и прочую сволочь. Именно эти люди закладывали основы благосостояния Европы. Для многих открытие, но не только в кровавом СССР строили Беломорканал руками заключённых, европейские традиции значительно древнее и богаче наших. Быстро выяснилось, что рабочих рук в новом свете не хватает. Практически сразу было найдено решение: закупать негров в Африке. Цивилизованные европейцы в мгновение ока наладили работорговлю.
